How delightful to have found these two cute little Easter chicks hiding under an equally cute little Male Fern (Dryopteris filix-mas) in our garden. What a perfect reminder of the wonderful time of year we have entered. You do not need to celebrate Easter to be grateful for the beautiful world around us and all that nature has to give. We wish everyone at this time many blessings, may your lives be filled with peace and comfort as we all enjoy what spring has to offer, even if only for a moment. Tina and Ted

We all know from fossils that ferns have been on planet earth for millions of years which is all credited to their amazing strength, resilience and adaptability. The fern frond you can see above is from a flourishing Royal Fern (Osmunda regalis) and would actually have formed part of the diet for a Brontosuarus (and other sauropods) dinosaur 220 million years ago, along with other members of the Osmundaceae familiy of ferns. How incredible is that? We'll leave you with that mind-blowing fact, wishing you, as always peace and comfort in your daily life. Tina and Ted

This beautiful display of Common polypody ferns (Polypodium vulgare) was taken early in the morning. It is so untouched and a weak ray of sunshine is peeping through some typical February clouds. What a reminder of the amazing world we live in! We hope you can find the peace and comfort that we do from this glorious presentation. Tina and Ted
